While renewable energies are becoming an increasingly pressing issue worldwide, marine energy is now widely acknowledged as a relevant answer to a significant share of our future energy needs.
This one-week intensive course provides the participants with an overview of RME science and technology as well as its successes and challenges.
One theme per day :
• French and International RME Challenges
• Resource Modeling / Harnessing Systems (wave & swell)
• Electrical Engineering
• Required Infrastructure / Mooring Systems
• Industrial Projects.
The Summer School is held under the perfect backdrop of the Brest international maritime festival «Les Tonnerres de Brest 2012».
